Gina L. Patterson, Psy.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Patterson has focused her career on helping others find healing through their own strengths and resiliencies. Many life circumstances bring people to seek therapy for healing and growth such as psychological trauma, physical injury or illness, or significant life changes. She uses a strong therapeutic relationship along with various interventions and skills building approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) within a Mindfulness context.
Dr. Patterson has been providing healing psychotherapy for over twenty years in a variety of settings to a diverse population of clients. She has been a staff psychologist in several settings and most recently was the Clinical Director of OneEighty overseeing outpatient mental health and substance use disorder treatment, the domestic violence shelter and the rape crisis program. Dr. Patterson has been active at the state level serving three terms on the Board of the Ohio Domestic Violence Network, providing written testimony on legislation and providing expert testimony on domestic violence cases.
She finds joy in being with others on their journey of healing and finding their own joy.
