David Earley, MSSA, LISW-S

Prior to founding Chrysalis Family Solutions, Dave served for nearly 20 years in a range of leadership positions at Village Network, Inc., of Wooster, Ohio including Regional Clinical Director, Northeast Regional Director, Director of Treatment Foster Care and Adoption, and Quality Assessment and Improvement Director. His professional experience also includes serving as the Western Region Director for the Griffiths Center for Children in Colorado, where he founded a successful residential treatment program for teen girls based on the Sanctuary Model of trauma-informed care.  This program utilized many innovative modalities, including animal-assisted therapies, expressive arts, wilderness trips, spiritual development, and non-combative Tae Kwan Do.  Locally, Dave previously also worked in a variety of roles, from mobile crisis team member to Marketing Director, at The Counseling Center of Wooster.

Currently, Dave consults with several Ohio therapeutic foster care agencies on matters ranging from strategic planning, integration of evidence-based practices, creation of new programs, compliance, continuous quality improvement, Medicaid billing, and other areas.

Dave has also served at the national level, on the board of directors at the Family Focused Treatment Association, the leading association of Therapeutic Foster Care and Community Based Care agencies in North America.  Dave is also entering his 15th year of service on the Board of Directors of the Andrus Children’s Center, Yonkers, New York. He is currently active with the Ohio Association of Child Caring Agencies (OACCA) and has served on past committees at the Ohio Department of Mental Health.

 

CREDENTIALS

Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the College of Wooster, Cum Laude

Master of Science in Social Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio.
