When someone is struggling emotionally, it can be easy to neglect self-care. Encourage your loved one to take time for themselves and engage in activities that bring them joy and relaxation. This might mean taking a walk in nature, practicing yoga or meditation, or simply taking a long bath.
3) Connect Them With Resources
Sometimes, the best way to help someone who's struggling emotionally is to connect them with professional resources. This might mean suggesting therapy or counseling, or helping them find local support groups or hotlines. Remember that seeking help is a sign of strength, and that there is no shame in reaching out for support when you need it.
